Hi Nafset,
I'm no expert in software but the BRF file is really just a TXT (ASCII text) file. It should open in any MSWord software or some standard text software on your Mac. You can also experiment and simply replace the BRF extension with a TXT extension (manually) and then open in whatever software you are trying to use. Hopefully others can answer your question about the Google apps.

Subject: [Menvi-discuss] BRF format.

Dear MENVI members,

As a MacOS and iOS system user, I always have troubles with BRf format. Do you know any special application for Apple that opens BRf files or is it readable only with Windows?

Last week I discovered that BRF format is accessible on Cromebook when the file is downloaded on it. However, web based Goggle applications don’t open BRf format. Are there any web based applications which open the BRF format?

Thanks in advance,
Nafset.
