[Menvi-discuss] Singing Question

Hello, Michelle,

I, too, think you would like braille in a choir situation. As for the
whispering, my thoughts against that would be the potential visual
distraction, and the responsibility placed on the whisperer, distracting
their attention.

Dear Michele,
I am totally blind and sing in two choirs currently. I would
recommend learning Braille, it will be much more efficient.
Another thing you could do is if they are comfortable with it,
ask someone like a family member to quietly whisper the words to
you before the verse, my parents did that with me when I was
younger so I could at least sing with everyone else. That's my
opinion.
Hope this helps and good luck to you in your singing.
